Steve and I were able to get a lot accomplished on this long weekend. We started with one of my favorite spring tasks...spreading mulch. It's relatively quick and creates instant gratification.
Then I moved on to finishing the table that Steve made for the living room. I decided to stain it to create a pottery barn look. I still need to polyurethane and then I'll post some real after photos.
And last but not least, mom taught me how to sew. We started with an easy pillow pattern and now I'm on a roll. I've already made four and I probably have enough fabric for ten more...I went a little crazy at Joann fabric! All in all, a very successful weekend.
