Updates to the living room

Steve and I have had big plans for the living room but knew that it would take a little time to get around to making it more our style. We have been making small changes along the way like the new jute rug from home goods, the addition of the wood stove, and the new tv stand. We are now ready for some big furniture changes. We recently bought a new chair to go next to the wood stove as a reading nook. We plan on adding a small table and cute floor lamp. The big change that we've been thinking about for awhile....new couches! So, last weekend we went to ikea and looked at white slip covered couches. We ended up ordering a couch and love sofa from ikea in off white with additional slip covers in gray. It's always great when you can change your mind! Here are the components that will soon be in our living room... We also just painted the walls the same light blue color that's in the kitchen. It looks awesome!
