This week has been amazing. At the beginning of the week the kitchen was only a shell of cabinets. On Wednesday the countertops were installed which made a huge difference and gave the kitchen a polished look. Then the plumbing and electrical were finished so that the sink, refrigerator and lights worked by Thursday. Thursday night the cabinet doors went on and I knew that we were close. On Friday, the finishing touches completed the look by putting the knobs on the doors. This was perfect timing due to the party we had planned for our coworkers because it was my last day at C3I (I have a new job at Medtronic in Portsmouth which I am very excited about!). We were so happy to finally have the ability to entertain. Here’s what we’ve all been waiting for…. the final kitchen!!!!
Steve and I decided that it would be fun to do Sunday breakfast for our families. This picture shows us cooking waffles, pancakes, eggs and of course mimosas.
My Mom took a picture of the kitchen in action. Apparently our families are now coming over every Sunday. I would say that means it was a success!
Here are some action shots of the kitchen in the last week of renovation. There were a lot of people who helped us get to this stage. We would like to thank them now for all the help!
Wednesday day after the countertops installed.
The new sink and the faucet we picked out.
We are so happy with the results and can’t believe that this kitchen is ours. The best part…. we can’t wait to share it with all of you!

I would like to make reservations for 4 for Thanksgiving. Either the dinning room or center island will be fine.
